About me

Audrie Vandeventer grew up in an interfaith ministry home, growing to accept Christ as her Savior at the young age of eight and following that action with believer's baptism.  Her continued pursuit of faith compelled her to surrender to a life of ministry at the age of seventeen.

Audrie attended Universal Life Church Seminary in St Modesto, California with a major in Ministerial Studies and was involved in discipleship training, Sunday school teaching, choir, and adult literacy training.  In 1991, she accepted her first ministry position as Community Service Coordinator with Chapel Hill Harvester Church a.k.a Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. During her four year tenure, she was the administrator of Joseph Storehouse (a clothes closet and food pantry for low-income families), where her primary responsibilities included:

•Coordinating marketing and development campaigns to increase business partnerships, community involvement and support through financial, in-kind and volunteer service donations;

•Organizing the “Holiday Basket Drive” and a variety of service opportunities to provide meals, clothing and toys to families in need.

•Acting as team lead in volunteer coordination for special projects, conferences and facilities maintenance.

In January 2015, Audrie was invited to continue her spiritual journey at Xcel Ministries, Inc. in Oxford, Florida and accepted her position as Associate Minister in March.  Her responsibilities include directing the newly formed adult choir as music minister, managing volunteer staff, worship planning and leadership, spiritual seminars, theory classes and directing various ensembles. Additionally, she has taken on the added role of Business Administrator to develop personnel and financial management systems that will enhance resource utilization, facility management, ministry coordination, office operations, and committee structuring for this growing ministry.

After the closing of Xcel Ministries here in Central Florida I started Hearts Open People Evolve (HOPE) and continue this ministry at present. Conducting a group meeting Practical Insights for Living Life Spiritually (PILLS)
