The Women's Academy is a Project aimed at empowering women in rural Kenya with adult education and vocational training for enterprise development.

Young Women and girls drop out of school because of early marriages, teenage pregnancies and lack of school fees because of poverty. In the end the rural communities in Kenya have low literacy levels amongst women and girls.

The Women Academy is a women's only school determined to change the illiteracy levels and the lack of vocational skills among women. The Academy runs courses for women trainees in an environment that is safe and private without intimidation and fear for stigma. We provide also baby care services for women with children under 5 and after training we are determined give women the tools they need to start up village enterprises
