9Mile Labs, a startup accelerator focused on helping B2B businesses grow with a focus on technology. Sanjay Puri is the co-founder and the CEO of 9Mile Labs. He said that the accelerator was created due to the potential in Washington's entrepreneurial community.

"We believe that the region holds lots of potential," Puri said. We believe there is great chance to help solve the issues of investors and starting up.

Patel stated that the state's culture treasures and supports local independent businesses which helps small-scale business owners succeed.

"I think Washington state is in an area where people very are very concerned about local economies, by purchasing locally and helping local businesses," Patel said. "So many new small businesses and independent stores are thriving because consumers value the uniqueness and character of each."
