Help Shari Battle Cancer

Here’s my story….

My name is Shari Washington and I’m a breast cancer survivor.  I’m a 1986 graduate of Howard University and majored in Performance Arts. My journey led me to Los Angeles, California to pursue my love for dance and to begin a family. I began teaching young ladies the fundamentals of dance through instructional classes. My continued passion working with young ladies has inspired me to partner with EmpowHer which is associated with the Environmental Charter middle school.  Currently, I reside in Los Angeles, California with my 2 teenage boys who are both active in sports. Since being a breast cancer survivor for 2 years I was on my way to healing and moving forward with my career.  In a split second my life has changed.

After experiencing pains in my neck, I proceeded to the emergency room.  I had a broken neck for 2 months. I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.  The cancer has spread to my bone marrow.  My treatment may include chemotherapy as well as radiation.

I need your financial support.

Any amount you are wiling to give from your heart will greatly help me sustain myself and take care of my sons and I.

Although, I know this journey will be rough, I’m determined to overcome and beat this again. But I need your help.

Thank you your time and consideration.
