Musyca European Tour

Hi my name is Nikayla Williams and I am 18 years old. I am also a foster child. I would like help to get funds for this trip. I will have the privilege of participating in the 2013-2014 Musical Youth of California Choral Program. As part of this program, I will have an opportunity not only to learn the best choral and vocal literature but also to perform in the best Concert Halls of the world.
During the summer of 2014, I would have an opportunity to learn foreign languages, have an experience with other cultures and traditions, learn the history of Austria and Czech Republic, and have an unbelievable opportunity to perform in the cities and places where Mozart and Beethoven, Smetana and Dvořák lived and performed.
I will have an opportunity to be an ambassador of music, representing United States of America, bringing our choral traditions to the people of Europe. I will also have a chance to meet, sing with and make friends with the children of Austria and Czech Republic.
Would you please consider making a donation toward my 2014 tour fee?
As you can see, being a part of this program will be an amazing opportunity to increase my skills as a musician, make lasting friendships, increase my confidence, build teamwork and leadership skills and strive for excellence both with my music and in other areas of my life. All of these skills will help me achieve my goals for the future.
Thank you for your time and support. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
