Hi, my name is Erica Levi. I'm married and have five children.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with gene positive Ankylosing Spondylitis but not after suffering for six years without a correct diagnosis. The nature of autoimmune diseases is such that with one, come others and so is the case with me: I have been diagnosed with connective tissue diseases called dermatomyositis and pollymyositis. However, I am here not to share my personal pain. Friends and family know me as a fighter and a dreamer. That is why I am starting this campaign!

AS is a rare disease and not much research exists and I'm working on creating a nonprofit organization which will heighten public awareness and, hopefully promote interest in the scientific community, which might lead to cure.

Please help me with the initial seed money to get connected to the internet and start a nonprofit organization. I currently use local library (when it is not raining) and sometimes use cell phone to browse and access websites/internet.

In addition, this nonprofit organization can eventually assist other people with similar diseases and create a community for cure!
