Children learn best when in a complex and vibrant environment, and when they are afforded the freedom of movement, choice and fresh air that the beach allows for. The kindergarten program participates in Shore School at The Brooklyn New School. At Shore School - Kindergarten classes visit Salt Marsh at Marine Park for our shore  "classroom." This is a day that has immediately become beloved by children, teachers and parents alike!

We are inspired by the Preschools in Sweden that conduct themselves outdoors in all kinds of weather.
Kindergarten visits the shore once a week for their outdoor adventures. This year, we are raising money for rain gear for the children to use when they're exploring the shore. With your help the children can continue to flourish and learn in nature.
