Please support our (Liana, Tyler, Marcus, Ariana, Jessy, Hollis & Cason) mission to deliver firewood and winter supplies to the Water Protectors at Standing Rock.
Our country's biggest issues, climate change, protecting the environment, the influence of Wall Street on the political process, racial and social injustice, and the exploitation and oppression of Native Americans, have collided on a North Dakota reservation.
A small contingent of friends are heading to the encampment at Standing Rock for one week towards the end of November, scheduled to leave the Bay Area on 11/19, to bring donations, offer our service, and stand in solidarity.
There are a lot of grand efforts being coordinated by our peers and allies. Our mission is a lean one, consisting of 2 cars and 1 truck: part of the crew will be driving out a box truck and picking up a literal truckload of wood on the way to bring in. The other half will be collecting donations, both monetary and gear, to bring in. We are NOT going to use this money to get us there, we are all paying our own way. *This money will ONLY be used to purchase firewood and rent the truck, one way. All additional money raised will be handed over directly to those in charge upon our arrival, so that it may get put to use right away for things like purchasing food. We are bringing a 3000 watt generator and donating it as well.

Wood: $150/cord
Gas Money: $500
Truck Rental: $1600 for 16ft Truck
$2,400 for 24' Truck
Upon arrival, we will offer our time in service to the First Nations people gathered at Standing Rock.
