  • Anne Thatcher January 11, 2017

Why don't more people (especially women) know about Hedy Lamarr?

  • Juju O'Grady November 2, 2016

Thank you for helping to remember Hedy and celebrate her life and give her the memorial she so rightly deserves.
    Kind regards from London

I've always been a big supporter of Hedy Lamarr since I was a kid and used to watch her movies on TV with my mom. I think I'm one of the few people who knew about her development of the patent and when I told people, they wouldn't believe me.

Thank you Katherine and Susan for making the video and giving her a memorial!

I'm going to send this to every tech pub and women's org that I know to get this funded!!

    Best,
    Monica Matulich

Being a signal processing expert ( www.geofront.eu ) and living only a kilometre from Vienna´s central cemetary ( at the Gasometers ) I felt it was good to contribute to the honoring of Hedy Lamarr. May she be remembered for a long time into the future :-)

When I was a child, my favorite activity on a rainy day was to play with paper dolls. My favorite paper doll was Hedy Lamarr! When I learned of her brilliant mind, I was so proud to know she succeeded in changing our world for the better. It's sad that because of her beauty and gender, she was forgotten in the annals of tech history.

As one who enjoys the technology that Hedy helped to launch, I am so happy that you are bringing attention to her contributions. Thank you!

Hedy Lamarr used her physical beauty, and her acting talent in her carreer. She used her intellectual power and creativity in producing a system for national security that has made us safer, as well as being the foundation for future communication technology. This woman deserves our remembrance, respect, and gratitude. I'm happy to be a part of this memorial campaign.
